American Girl Doll Bedding
Last week I made the mattress and my DH made the new bed for our newest member of the family, Julie. Julie had no bedding, however, and a mattress without sheets and a comforter along with the requisite number of pillows is fairly worthless.
I had made the tot’s bedding and for some reason (read: neurosis) saved the scraps from that project. Here is the tot’s bed:

and here is the bedding for Julie and her friend, Ivy, made out of the remnants and scraps from the original nursery project.

Your fabric choices are beautiful. Particularly the dragonfly. I love pink beds, so of course, I have a boy. No pink in our house.
Ooh that looks just lovely. I really envy your sewing/crafting skills.
I gave it up in school when all my crafting project turned out into little disasters with very, very low grades
Holy crap that’s exquisite. You’re a wonderful mom – I don’t do doll clothes or doll accessories, I have enough do keep up with just making clothes for the diva.
I work 2 blocks from the Amrican Girl NY flagship, and I can tell you first-hand that they don’t have anything half as gorgeous! That’s one lucky girl…and one lucky doll!
The good thing about American Girl doll bedding is that it’s small and full of straight lines. I dread having to sew clothes for that thing.
Thanks guys!
That fabric is beautiful. Tot and her girls are lucky to have you!
I’m not showing this to my daughter because I will no longer be the best mom evah. That is absolutely beautiful.
This is gorgeous!!! Julie and Ivy are lucky dolls.
I love it! So girly and elegant.
That is simply adorable. I love how it matches her room (which is fabulous, by the way).
